Community Policing - District A

Green Bay's West side police area is District A. The district is split into 3 separate sectors, each sector has a Community Police Officer assigned.

Along with Community Police, patrol officers are also assigned to the 3 sectors 24/7/365 to respond to calls and traffic enforcement.

District A includes: Lambeau Field, Green Bay Packers Headquarters, St. Mary's Hospital and many clinics/healthcare facilities. Notre Dame High School, Southwest High School, Franklin Middle School, and Lombardi Middle School are also part of District A. There are also many elementary and private schools in this district. This area also includes NWTC, Green Bay Botanical Gardens, and Oneida Golf & Riding Club. It also includes a major portion of Interstate 41.

Along with patrolling and proactive community engagement, Green Bay officers are assigned as School Resources Officers in the middle and high schools in the area. These officers are important in engaging our youth and creating a positive environment and positive interactions with the police and children in the community.
