Woman Arrested for Pulling Gun on McDonald's Employee

Woman Arrested for Pulling Gun on McDonald's Employee

At 4:59 pm on July 5, 2017, a call to Brown County Public Safety advised there was a woman in a verbal dispute at the McDonald's on Shawano Avenue. The call details also stated a woman involved in the dispute pulled a gun on the other individual.

Cynthia Fugere, 57, was charged and booked into the Brown County Jail with a $3,000 bond for 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, False Imprisonment/Kidnapping (both felony charges), and misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct.

While the disturbance began inside the McDonald's, Fugere left and waited outside. When the employee emerged from the restaurant, Fugere followed them to the Superior Discount Liquor store across the street.

A relative of the victim told Green Bay Crime Reports that Fugere went to the window, screaming about her food. She was yelling at a manager and calling the victim names. During this, the victim clocked out from work and walked across the street. Fugere followed the employee/victim to Superior Discount Liquor.

Authorities say this is when Fugere began yelling at the employee and pulled out the gun.

Fugere made an initial appearance today in the Brown County Courthouse. A no contact order has been placed between the defendant and the Shawano Avenue McDonald's, along with all of the employees. It's also ordered that the defendant have no possession of weapons.

Fugere has been released from custody and her Adjourned Initial Appearance is scheduled for July 13 at 8:30 am.
