Knife-Wielding Green Bay Robbery Suspect Strikes Again


Green Bay, WI - The suspect sought after by Green Bay Police related to a rash of armed robberies has struck again. Subway, located at 1007 W. Mason St., was robbed this evening at approximately 7:57 pm. Police say an employee was told by the robber to go inside a freezer. Nobody was hurt in this incident. The suspect fits the MO of five previous robberies in the Green Bay area. He is now described as a Native or Hispanic male, 5'8" to 5'10" tall, wearing a ski mask, dark clothing, and brandishing a knife in all of the robberies.



December 18th, approximately 11:27 pm - Burger King @ 1005 S. Military Ave
Just three nights ago Burger King was robbed at knife-point. The suspect, described as a male, possibly Hispanic, left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No employees were hurt during the robbery. The police department set up a perimeter in the area, but were not able to capture the suspect. 

December 11th, just after 9 pm. - Dollar General @ 1152 S. Military Ave.
One week prior, on December 11, the suspect robbed Dollar General at 1152 S. Military Ave just after 9 pm. He displayed a knife and demanded money. Nobody was hurt in this incident.
  




December 11th, approximately 3:30 am - Shell @ 841 Main Ave (De Pere)
A man in his early 20s reportedly entered the gas station, threatened the clerk with a weapon, and made away on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

December 10th, approximately 7:30 pm - Subway @ 1641 Commanche Ave.
During the robbery, police said the suspect displayed a knife when demanding money from the cashier. Sources said the suspect jumped over the counter and made an employee get down on the ground. The employee described the robber as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black mask, and blue jeans.



December 5th, approximately 6:07 pm - Cousins Subs @ 2583 W. Mason St.
The beginning of the robberies...Officers responded to Cousins Subs after receiving a report of an armed robbery. The suspect in this incident entered the store and threatened a female employee with a knife. Nobody was injured and the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Crime Prevention Suggestions from the Green Bay Police Department

  • Employees must be alert of what is occurring around them. Be aware of your surroundings.
  • Report suspicious activity. If you observe an individual or occupied vehicle lingering around the business for a time, or in a manner that makes you suspicious, write down the license plate, color of car, and description. Call the police department's non-emergency number (920) 448-3200.
  • Keep doors and windows clear. Post any signs to the side, top, or bottom to maximize visibility.
  • Install good quality video surveillance cameras.
  • Do not keep unnecessary amounts of money in the till.
  • During the evening hours, take even greater precautions. Check that outside lights are on and working.

Male, possibly White or Hispanic
5' 7" to 5' 9" tall
Heavier set, stocky build
Wears dark clothing, ski mask, black gloves, and wielding a knife.
